How to Rotate a PDF and Save It Permanently

Published

Why a rotated view doesn't stick

Scanned or phone-captured pages often come in sideways or upside down. Rotating the view in a PDF reader only turns it for you, on your screen — reopen the file, or send it to someone else, and it's sideways again. To fix it for good, the rotation has to be written into the file itself.

Rotating and saving for good

Open Rotate PDF and upload your file. Rotate in 90-degree steps until every page sits the right way up, then download. The new PDF has the correct orientation baked in, so it opens and prints upright for everyone, everywhere.

Different pages, different angles

A single document sometimes has pages that need different rotations — most upright, but one landscape table turned sideways. Rotate each page to its correct angle rather than forcing one rotation on the whole file.

If you also need to reorder or remove pages while you're at it, Organize PDF combines rotation with drag-and-drop page management in one pass, so you fix orientation and sequence together.
