# NexaPDF AI > A browser-based PDF toolkit with an AI layer: merge, split, compress, convert, OCR, sign, protect and redact PDFs, plus chat-with-a-PDF, auto-redaction, summarising and translation. Standard tools are free and need no account. The same tools are available over an HTTP API. Uploads and results are removed by a one-day storage rule and are never used to train models.
